Back Patch Promise
SEA-PAH's commitment to members who earn a back patch - what it means and what we pledge to uphold.
SEA-PAH Back Patch Promise
Seattle Pups and Handlers (SEA-PAH) is part of the long-standing tradition of back patch clubs in the Kink community. A back patch club is a group of people within the Leather/Rubber/BDSM community who join under a common symbol, their patch, and share a mission of public service as well as mutual support. The patches worn by our members are a symbol of our dedication to the SEA-PAH mission and ideals. SEA-PAH exists to provide camaraderie and a safe space to any individual who identifies as a Pup, Handler, or Friends of said Pups and Handlers.
To wear a back patch, the wearer must be a SEA-PAH member in good standing and have been so for a minimum of 12 months. Wearers of the patch are our club pack members. Puppy Play unites us in kinship. When you wear your patch, you are a representative of SEA-PAH. Bring honor to SEA-PAH when you wear your patch. Wear it with pride.
Please say “WOOF” at the end of each pledge statement:
-
I, a member of the Seattle Pups and Handlers, by accepting this patch, agree to join together with the other members in an affiliation to bring about Puppy Play individuality, create an identification for members, and to be recognized by Pups and Handlers of similar groups.
-
I join together with SEA-PAH in a kinship for personal gratification and to create close fellowship within our Kink community, and to foster our Kink community’s growth and development.
-
I join together with SEA-PAH to promote personal pride on the part of all members in the club for its aims and purposes, so long as the insignia of the Seattle Pups and Handlers shall be worn.
-
I will assist, if possible, through kinship, fellow members and other pup and handlers groups, in times of difficulty and trouble.
-
I will proudly display the club colors with dignity.
-
I acknowledge that this back patch is an honor and not an entitlement
Back Patch Terms
I agree to pay the deposit of $30 for my patch. I understand that I will receive my deposit back if I ever choose to return the patch in serviceable condition.
I understand that wearing this back patch is a privilege. The club can decide to revoke my patch should I ever fall out of good standing or use it to sully or misrepresent the club or its mission. I understand that I am expected to return the patch upon request. I understand that my club privileges may be revoked until the patch is returned.
One love, one pack.
